Hi, there! We’re back with a new round of product updates — and this one’s a big step forward. Tilt is evolving to pioneer a new category: Leave Experience Management.

That means more high-impact features, more flexibility, and more ways for HR teams to deliver compliant, human-centered leave experiences. From brand-new products to powerful integrations, here’s what’s new in the world of Tilt.

Introducing Tilt Essentials

At Tilt, we talk to thousands of HR professionals every year. Some are managing complex, multi-state paid family and medical leave (PFML) programs and need the depth, customization, and hands-on partnership that power a fully scalable leave program. Employees can now call Tilley Voice directly to initiate a leave, update key leave details, or ask FMLA-related questions — anytime, anywhere. Built to deliver clarity and compliance, Tilley Voice scopes first, clarifies ambiguity, and never speculates, ensuring every interaction is accurate and secure.

BambooHR + Tilt: Seamless Leave Management

Our new BambooHR integration makes syncing your HR data and managing leave smoother than ever. Employee and organizational data now flows automatically from BambooHR to Tilt, keeping everything in sync and up-to-date.

Here’s what you’ll gain:

Paylocity Integration: Automation Meets Accuracy

We’ve also launched a one-way Paylocity integration built in-house to bring automation and accuracy to the forefront of your leave experience. Tilt automatically pulls employee demographics and other data from Paylocity into your leave platform — eliminating duplicate entry, minimizing errors, and ensuring leave-related information stays up to date. Together, we provide a faster, safer, and smarter way to manage every leave.

Leave Date Confirmations: Clarity for HR and Teams

Leave plans can change. And when they do, everyone needs to stay aligned. That’s why we’ve introduced Leave Confirmation Texts, ensuring HR and managers have clarity and confidence at every step.

Employees can now be prompted to confirm their planned start and return dates via text, helping HR and managers stay in sync, coordinate team logistics, and keep payroll and benefits accurate. It’s a small update with a big impact on transparency and peace of mind.

Leave Success Teams : Collective Care for Complex Teams

As Tilt grows with you, we’re expanding how employees access support. As opposed to a single Leave Success Manager, our customers now have a dedicated team of Leave Success Managers supporting their employees, with subject matter experts in each key area. With multiple LSMs, we can provide guidance, step in when needed, and ensure no leave ever falls through the cracks.

Hi, there! Fancy seeing you here. It’s been a while since we caught up on some product updates, but our mission is just the same. Tilt’s team has been hard at work to improve the leave experience for you and your team. Let’s dive in and highlight a few of our newest features and updates.

360 Visibility Into Leave Activity

Managing leave is a high-stakes task, and HR teams want to be confident they know the ins and outs of the entire leave journey to support audits, troubleshooting, and provide peace of mind that leave actions are being completed. Tilt’s Activity Feed allows HR to view:

  • Pinned notes from an employee’s dedicated Leave Success Manager 
  • All in-platform messages Tilt or a Leave Success Manager have sent to HR and employees
  • Documents that have been requested, completed, or had their due dates changed
  • Details regarding the history of a leave and who has been involved with it
  • Timestamps for when pay calculations were published

Disable The Manager Experience

Tilt’s platform automatically gives you access to dashboards for HR, employees, and managers. However, not all teams want the same experience. That’s why we now allow you to disable the manager experience, and instead treat managers to the employee experience. While managers will not have access to their own dashboard, each employee can still be associated with a manager in the platform to give you insight into relevant employee information.

Have you heard? Tilt’s fully native, two-way integration with Workday makes keeping accurate, reliable data in both of your systems a breeze. With daily, automatic data sync, employee demographics, pay details, pay history, and company pay schedules stay perfectly aligned between Tilt and Workday. Customers can set up the integration in under 30 minutes, and enjoy seamless, secure, and compliant leave management — no third parties, no human error, and no headaches.

Connect Paycor to Tilt

The integration wins don’t stop. We’ve also teamed up with Paycor to build a seamless Paycor-to-Tilt integration. Now, demographic data, pay schedules, and pay history flow directly into your leave platform, calculating employee pay and ensuring compliance. The result? Less time on admin, and more time creating great employee experiences.

For many multi-company organizations, leave is managed by an HR team at a parent company. With multi-company user support, HR teams with multiple subsidiaries can now access any number of Tilt instances through one login, easily flipping between companies to access all relevant leave info.

Scalable Permissions To Fit Your Org Structure

Growing organizations often have complex org structures, creating unique needs for information access. Cohorts is a powerful tool for segmenting users based on shared attributes, giving admins effortless control over who can access what in Tilt, and ensuring HR team members only see the leaves they’re responsible for — no more clunky workarounds or all-access visibility.

With easy setup through data imports or integrations, Cohorts makes managing your team structures simple, secure, and scalable.

Access Medical Certification Dates With Ease

When an employee is taking a medical leave they are required to submit a medical certification proving their need for the leave. Now, once a medical certification is reviewed by a Leave Success Manager, HR will have automatic access to the dates an employee has been approved to take a medical leave of absence, so they don’t have to track the information down via paperwork.
