We are thrilled. This is a sticky area for a smaller, 100% remote company, and Tilt solved all of our leave needs, provided employees and managers with fantastic support, and gave us confidence in our compliance.
We have a fully remote workforce, with employees across the US. This poses challenges for HR in understanding and correctly interpreting all of the state leave laws and compliance. We looked into leave vendors and we couldn't afford them - until we found Tilt. We have been so happy to find this all-inclusive, full service solution for a fraction of the cost others quoted. Tilt does it all and makes it so easy. The implementation team reviewed our handbook and asked really good questions to make sure everything was set up correctly (and gave us insight into areas where we could improve the handbook). They got us set up in record time and everything was so intuitive that we didn't need much help to launch three leaves of absence for our employees. After that, the leaves were taken care of for us, and we were confident that those going on leave were receiving excellent guidance and all compliance needs were covered. HR and our managers loved the amount of information they had and especially appreciated the leave map and the ability to understand leave law coverage, time off, and pay while on leave with a glance. Our employees were very happy to have had such great support.
We had wanted SSO, but it was added before we launched and was very easy for our IT to set up, so our list of cons is down to zero.

Tilt believes in continuous improvement by offering new and enhanced features like SFTP, support for military leave, a customer feedback portal, and ADA functionality. This shows that they are listening to their customers and incorporating our feedback and keeps us informed of their product roadmap. Their customer success managers are wonderful - very responsive, efficient and I really appreciate that they will create a customized video on loop to show us how to do something in just a couple of minutes replacing the need for a call and a lot of back-and-forth communication over email. The portal is clear and user-friendly.
It would be great if Tilt could manage healthcare repayments during employee leaves.

We are saving our teammates time, we are avoiding manual mistakes, we are working in a more organized way around leaves.
Easy to use for admins, employees, managers and payroll. The team was great during implementation and overall communication has been great during the time that we have been using Tilt. I personally really like how easy tracking leaves and changes has become. I also appreciate the peace of mind that we have knowing that Tilt is on top of law changes and we are compliant.
I have not encounter a difficult to use feature yet.

We are able to manage leaves over multiple states and ensure that both our People Ops team, our employees, and our people managers have all the resources and support they need to have a seamless leave of absence experience.
What I like most about Tilt is the ease of leave of absence management from an HR admin perspective and the empathy that is built into the user experience and exemplified from our leave success manager. Its been a great user experience all around.
Because Tilt does not integrate with our HRIS (i.e. Time Off Requests, leave status updates, payroll process dates, etc.) there is still a bit of manual updating that needs to be completed. Tilt has great reporting and notifications so we've been able to incorporate these into our process and its working smoothly despite the manual aspects. However, these minor pieces outweigh the benefits in terms of Tilt managing the leave and leave timelines.

The platform itself is very user friendly and the support from the Tilt team have been amazing as well.
I'm a first time Tilt user and have been using it for about 7 months and the user interface/platform is very easy to use. Getting familiar with the platform did not take long at all.
I think it would be helpful if there was a function to print the pay calculations. Currently we are taking a screenshot of the pay calculation to save to our employee folders.

Overall, Tilt is a great LOA tool in managing and communicating leaves for our employees. The features have helped our team automate and speed up our management time which has been super helpful.
Tilt has been a perfect addition to our LOA process. We find the the following features super helpful:- payroll breakdown- employee/manager checklist- leave calendar - dedicated support team member for leaves
Although Tilt has been very helpful, the one challenge is having to channel communications between Tilt, our PEO and our employee at times. If there was some sort of integration there, it would streamline the communications aspect of the leave

Tilt has been one of the best products we have ever implemented at our organization and we love to see how Tilt will grow over the years. We have an easy-to-use dedicated space to track all types of our company leaves. Our payroll team and the leave of absence team no longer have to use Excel files to constantly track an employee's leave. In addition, now managers are more intuned to their employees leave time frames as well as staying compliant with what they can and can't say to an employee requesting a leave or is on leave.
Tilt is easy to use for employees, managers, and HR teams. It simplifies the leave process and allows all parties to easily understand how a company's leave policy interacts with state and federal job-protected leaves. Having dedicated Leave Success Managers for an employee to speak with has tremendously improved overall employee experience as well. The pay calculations have tremendous for our payroll team as well who are completely in love with the platform!
Currently, a role-based permission is missing which is for HR Business Partners. If I were to add HRBPS's as HR users to Tilt they would be bombarded with every employee's leave updates instead of only the leaves that may be relevant to them. I would also like to see a feature of what kinds of notifications I would like to be automatically sent to my email vs just having it as a notification on the platform itself.
